There are times when I receive comments on the blogger that 'question' whether Tarot is religiously acceptable. Sometimes I do receive comments that are very angry and consider that Tarot is a 'blasphemous' activity. I do remove these comments and I am quite prepared to explain why that is.
Firstly, I want to let readers know that every case that is published on my blogger is a 'REQUEST' either asked for here or on Facebook or by private mail. All of the insights that you see written here are Voluntary and they are authentically dated posts from my forum and verified there.
This is a voluntary service for those that come to me and ask me if Tarot can produce anything to assist. There have been requests from members of families themselves and I have done all I can to try to help them. That 'help' more then often goes above and beyond anything you read on this blogger.
Tarot does NOT have all the answers. There is a specific note that I put on each reading to clarify this. Tarot is a very special tool that takes years of practice to perfect - but interpretation can sometimes be remiss on time and dates and some details cannot be guaranteed though there are many cases here with distinctly validated points and on occasion the dates and times are correct.
Tarot does not SOLVE or have all the answers but it does have some. All 'clues' to Missing people are very important to form the big picture and it is up to the reader to always look at concrete sources of information to validate anything that tarot has given us. I do think I have made a particular point about this on every entry on the blogger.
I have worked with tarot for over 20 years and began to use this 'gift' online both on my forum and this blogger for nearly five years in order to try to help others. I think it is fair to address those who may write 'negative and judgemental' comments through their religious beliefs. If I do not address this point then both sides of opinion are not aired, so I am quite happy to do this.
When I receive comments that tell me that I 'work against God' or that my work is ' devils work' I take that very seriously. I think it is undermining my own knowledge of the Bible and works of God. There are some wonderful clairvoyantes and seers in our midst today who work exactly as I do - there are a great many of them who work voluntarily and spend many hours as I do myself to try to explore what might have happened to those that have been lost from their families. We do this BY REQUEST and that involves spending time for that person who has requested the reading and who themselves have had a great concern for a particular person. These are acts of Kindness given freely from the heart.
Going back to God - (who happens to be a friend of mine) I would like anyone to consider the following passage before they decide to judge me and the work that I do.
“And it shall come to pass afterward that I will pour out My Spirit on all flesh; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions; and also on my menservants and on my maidservants I will pour out My Spirit in those days.” (Joel 2:28-29)
“Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit. There are differences of ministries, but the same Lord. And there are diversities of activities, but it is the same God who works all in all. But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to each one for the profit of all:
For to one is given the word of wisdom through the Spirit, to another the word of knowledge through the same Spirit, to another faith by the same Spirit, to another gifts of healings by the same Spirit, to another the working of miracles, to another prophecy, to another discerning of spirits, to another different kinds of tongues, to another the interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these things, distributing to each one individually as He wills.” (1 Corinthians 12:4)
There is no DOUBT in these passages that the Bible has recognised all works of spiritual people. Not only are these works recognised they are 'gifts' GIVEN to us and God works through us. For those that believe in the words of the Bible I am quite sure that it cant be cherry picked to suit a persons personal feelings. Its written there in black and white that God supports spiritual gifts.
Though I know I will continue to receive some judgemental comments from those who are extremely religiously inclined, please understand that I also have my own beliefs and I do look for guidance and answers to everything I do. I hope this clears up the question of Tarot and Religion.
Many people say 'all answers are in the Bible' - they are.
God is everyones friend - how he touches you in your heart, how he motivates you personally is his plan for you. His plan for me was to give to others.
I hope this helps anyone who comes here and wishes to condemn or question the work that I do and what the Bible views are on this.
Meanwhile please note once more that Tarot for the Missing is VOLUNTARY and always has been.
I thank you all for reading.
Very good Wishes and please continue to let me know about those who are missing and who you feel Tarot can help.
Empathy.
Spiritual Gifts
"For by the grace given to me I say to everyone among you not to think of yourself more highly than you ought to think, but to think with sober judgment, each according to the measure of faith that God has assigned. For as in one body we have many members, and not all the members have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually we are members one of another. We have gifts that differ according to the grace given to us: prophecy, in proportion to faith; ministry, in ministering; the teacher, in teaching; the exhorter, in exhortation; the giver, in generosity; the leader, in diligence; the compassionate, in cheerfulness."
-Romans 12:3-8 (NRSV)

Well I can contest to the work Empathy does. She is WONDERFUL.This is not against GOD, people wake up , you have been greatly mislead by the man made bible.God is in each and everyone of us.
Empathy works from the heart, she does not charge to help kids.
I would ask these hateful commenters one question. Does your God command you to write such hateful comments and behave in such a way?
WE are all one, he loves us all. One day you'll wake up to the fact you are being controlled by these man made religions, and then what? Many ppl have died, and wars formed over religion. Do you really think GOD is okay with this? Think again. So who are you to judge anyone.

I agree with Starfish and MS.
Empathy please go on with your work for the missing. You are a nice person, who works from the heart. Don't let insult you by people who don't understand.
With love to you Empathy.

like Cath said: Empathy please go on with your work. You are a very nice and honest person, who works from the heart. Don't let insult you by anybody.
With love to you Empathy.
I have never known a more selfless and non material person in all my life than Empathy, for anyone to say otherwise is blatantly untrue and worthless as a comment.
I know the hardships that Empathy and her family have endured in the past and wish them only the best in the future.
empathy has a true gift and in my opinion deserves to be treated with absolute respect.
i think what em does is very wonderful she has found alot of answers people were looking for otherwise they would not have found thank you em.
I really like your website. God Bless you. F
I have recently starting to learn tarot cards.
When i told this to my mother she cried. She thought I was turning my back on god, this hurt me very much. I explained to her that I was not, in fact i was asking guidance from the spirt relm which include angels and god.
She is still uneasy, this is making me feel uneasy. I have a good relationship with my mother and I dont want her to be upset.
I stumbled upon this blog by accident.Thank you for the post it has given reasurence.
It is very important that any individual who wishes to work with tarot is not influenced by another point of view. It is a personal choice and it must always be made by the individual and with what their emotions tell them. I have to deal with many queries but I have shown what the Bible says to those who are religiously inclined. I did not write the Bible therefore I cannot say what is right or wrong within it but for those who write to me telling me that prophecy is a sin, I simply have quoted what the Bible tells them. So please make your own choices in this matter.
Many good wishes

Wow! I am glad to stumble upon this. I have struggled with my Christian religion and tarot for a while. I have always been intuitive and have been made to feel like I should pray to God to get rid of this gift. I do not want to lose it. In fact, I want to grow it. I have never felt any negativity or conviction when combining the two. Other Christian always attempt to scare me with, "You'll open the door to things you cannot control (demons, etc.)." I wish I could find an experienced person to talk to about this . . .
A bit late for me here since your entry was made a couple of years ago, but I'm glad I've found it. I want to explore the tarot personally but wasn't quite sure either. I am also of Christian faith and wasn't sure if it's alright to seriously get into it. though, i know someone from the community who has tarots, but i think she only collects it not exactly use it for reading. no bashing from fellow members there. Well, I want to use it for reading and guidance. I was sorta torn, then I finally googled it and here I am posting at your blog. You are right. It is a gift given by God. Why should it be associated with demons? God would not give something that is bad.
So yeah. Not sure if I have the 'gift' for this. all I know is that I sometimes get my answers via dreams. I wonder if it can extend to tarots. if there's a gift there, then i would like to grow it.
Hello thank you for commenting. The Bible speaks for itself as you can see.

I am what I call an Esoteric Christian. I have long believed that these things are acceptable but due to original indoctrination had trouble reconciling myself with it. My stepdaughter has recently approached me with an interest in astrology and I suggested tarot as well. In looking for info for her, I have queried the religious side and thanks to you I have my answer. You clear it up and I am more comfortable with it. I will be showing her this page and hopefully she finds the same comfort.
Thank You
I am also a Christian.. In the sense of I believe in God, Jesus, & the Bible. I also follow astrology and practice in tarot readings. I hadn't been critisized and toldi was practicing witch craft and it was not welcomed I'm church. I also believe these gifts are God given. And I completely agree with you. And might I add.. Let those without sin cast the first stone, & the one true judge is God. So even if you think people like us are wrong, remember, it isn't your place to say so. Let God tell us.
