Peter was last seen at Ernie’s Market in Staples buying groceries at about 11:55 A.M. that morning. He never returned home. His car was found abandoned on a minimum maintenance road on Saturday July 25th. Since then, family members, hundreds of volunteers, the Cass County Sheriff’s Department, the Minnesota National Guard, search divers, mounted posses, over 30 K9 search dogs, and investigators with cadaver dogs have found no trace of Peter.
Anyone with information on Achermann’s whereabouts, tips, leads, etc. is asked to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Department at (800) 450-2677 or (218) 547-1424 or call 911.
