I have had an emailed request from a family member to look at the Tarot for Laura Jean Simonson. Laura has been profiled here on the blog since December 2013. Family give me the 2nd of November 2013 as the disappearance date while other media outlets report 1st November.

Im sure anyway that Tarot can give us some kind of general indication of events whichever date it transpires to be. I would remind you as a reader to take my notes into account and understand that Tarot can only give possibilities and not fact so it is always wise to read the notes that I supply with the Tarot on this page.



When I read the Tarot all I can do is give my impressions and looking at this first card it seems to me that Laura lost a lot of confidence in life. This reversed world makes me feel as though her world is upside down - its a sad card because it gives somebody who just cant seem to feel as though they can get on the right path. That is the first impression I had with this. The card is 21 which is the end of the Major Arcana but is pointing at the 20 card Judgement which always makes me feel that something in the past has caused this disappearance whatever that might be.

The past catches up with you in Judgement so whatever there was behind this girl seems to have projected into this disappearance. The card I have is 21 but I want to pick out number 21, 12, 1 and 2 as possible routes distance or timing for an event.

I am seeing a situation of insecurity and a feeling of not being able to go out in life and meet her goals or any passions - it all seems to be negative here regrets and disappointments come up. But there is also a possibility of not going out anywhere as well. There is some kind of fear of the home and profession here? I feel that this lady lacks self esteem or didnt want any negative confrontations perhaps. I feel like she was afraid of change, I know that sounds odd but it seems to have affected her.

Motherhood seems to have fallen flat and there are indications that perhaps there might have been an abusive male somewhere on the scene which doesnt sound that nice. The aspects of this card can show going around in a circle but also the North and North East might be on this card too. That can be actual direction or part of an area name. I feel as though we need to get into some descriptions now but I will mention that if we have to look at the judgement card as well there is something that bothers her from the past that contributes and I wanted to say that again.

The descriptions I have for this card can give people and places and all the descriptions could actually even point to a place but a map will be provided as Dee understands what Im talking about when she puts the info on the maps for me. Remember that the directions given can be starting or ending points.
There are sometimes some sexual elements linked into this card via the information that attaches to it or it could be problems with the 'nether regions'. Its not always the case but it can come up so I have to put everything I have whether or not its a first application to consider or a 'mention'.

The person that might be seen in this card (or somehow linked to a place) is described as well built, and strong large, active, and quite hairy. The complexion, hair or features generaly dark and dark eyes , penetrating. The face has a short neck appearing squat. Bites and poisons can come up in this card not always but worth noting.
The feeling is a hostile environment or situation perhaps there is fear or threat or this is a dark place with a lack of light and feeling unable to move. Prisons, deserted places, churchs church yards all seem to come up here. Also vermin reptiles or insects can show up in this card as its a beneath earth card or close to earth.

At the same time other descriptions might be where there is damp or decay, muddy ,boggy, swampy or marshy ground. Perhaps ice or snow can come up, stagnant lakes or ponds or ruined houses or abandoned houses near water or even water name. Basements and cellars can also appear here in this card as can sewers drains and water disposal places. Black Mud can come up and so can cement or Clay. Flooded land untenanted places north facing walls seem to be in this card.

Inside the house Scorpio points to locations that are cold and dark, low down or underground, or near water used to eliminate waste. These include sinks (and the cupboards underneath them that contain poisonous cleaning agents), toilets and drains (inside and out); cellars, pantries and larders (being cold and dark), undeveloped basements, areas that suffer from damp and decay, or have been left untenanted and remain in need of renovation or demolition.

In the garden Scorpio will represent muddy areas, compost heaps, the sunless north-facing wall, inaccessible areas, pot holes, puddles and stagnant ponds. The words smith baker dyer and cook just a few names they might link in or have some other meaning here. Heat and perhaps burning might come up such as forges or chimneys its just a kind of descriptive way of trying to tell us something on the map.

Another description of person is someone with brown, ruddy colour, or high colour; their appearance might be round, hair red or sandy or some dark type of blond with sharp hazel eyes. There is a crispy or curling effect perhaps to the hair.

If there is a male here he could be considered possibly dangerous or even violent but we need to take all cards into account. Has someone passed away before?
It might show that an opportunity or something 'came up' and Laura had to decide a bit quickly about it.



This card the Moon is reversed - I generally link this card often to 'the mother' figure or a mother figure and the card has a number 18 which could be split to 1 and 8 as road/route numbers or distances but also number 9 and number 81 and 6. I feel as though there is an emotional crisis and someone found out something that perhaps Laura didnt want them to know. I really could be wrong here but I see those fears and insecurities getting worse and doubling. This is a bit of a water card which could be in name of place or actual water itself. Sometimes this shows us feeling we are in the dark somewhere.

I wonder if Im looking at the area of Blackdog Lake? even as a pointer element in this card as a part of vicinity. I will check the other directions for this card. I seem to have North and North West but it is reversed so we do have to be careful. I generally leave it to Dee to pick up the starting ending points but this card is giving us water again so I would have thought water places or names might figure as we have fishponds, rivers, springs, watermills, water pumps, wells, marshy or watery ground, moats, springs, the ocean, and all places near to water so it cant be plainer then that?

I feel as though something is telling me theres something 'hidden' and something about the back of the head or sleep or being asleep as I sense being unconcious but then something saying No Im not so I cant understand that for the moment but I hope obviously that this girl is ok though I really would concern myself about that it depends if this is coming across emotionally or actual.

Two towers or a bridge might show up here too so I better mention that. Im getting night time. Im also seeing those spiritual church elements here as well.

Colours white and crystal comes up - sweet scented odours so that could imply the area of Apple Valley but Tarot could just be showing all the surrounding areas thats why we have to be careful and the numbers might be part numbers too. Something tin coming up here also. If she had a car did they find that? There is an element that could suggest drugs here so I wont leave that out and also getting lost in the dark or taking a wrong turning can come up too. Im not feeling as though she is that far from home/family but I could be wrong.



I am getting 'candles' on this card not sure if that has anything to do with WHERE this lady is but the number I have is a 5 which could be route timing or distance or it could suggest before May of any year. 5 could even be 2015 so it really does depend how it wants to give itself.

I would suggest that she could be found so I dont think that is going to be the problem here I feel that two people are linked somehow though I cant be sure in what way however, we have a K here or we have key or keys or quay and also the word Lock.

Now really this card is the search and find card so if anything already links in then its because Tarot is past present and future and will bring up anything that has come up or that is in the future.

This card is a church element card but also represents schools clubs groups organisations and we are offered good advice linking to two people. Take that for whatever it means.
I have a family card sitting here and I also have a car or a male either side of the situation.
There is something here about a marriage or the word Union. I also have the word Rose.
In this card I am seeing the same dark haired person I described earlier with the dark eyes ect.

I am also given the South East on this card. Problems with throat neck and shoulders and the description of places would be linked to names that sound like horses/stables and cattle or tack rooms barns/storehouses. Farm land comes up or pasture land away from housing estates. We are being shown single storey houses/buildings or basements or cellars. Even bungalows or cottages could come up here. A Friday comes up and so do other keywords such as Mother gardens, fountains, bridal-chambers, fair, lodgings, beds, hangings,dancing schools, wardrobes.

My belief is that Laura can be found - there is some kind of good advice attached to this card so it does not seem negative to me when it comes to being able to find Laura. So I hope for the best for her and those who search for her. I do not comment on health but give only a brief overview of what Tarot has shown to me.

I would remind you that Tarot does not give facts it only suggests possibilities and its always best to read the cards combined as the information in each will blend in together in some way or other.

As Im writing this case I felt some similarities with Kelly Dwyer and Carrie Olsen. Not sure if there is a link as of course I dont want to set imagination on fire but read both of those cases too. It might just be that I felt there was something similar there.

 UPDATED NEWS 26TH JUNE 2014

This report has been posted today. Clearly it seems that Laura has been found deceased but there are indications another woman who has also passed away has been found too. It also seems that Laura has been moved around so I will wait for further reports before I check the validation aspects of both the Tarot and Map as with movement it may cover other are/elements.  I will be back to update as news flows in and underline some key points. My sympathies to the family in this very sad time.
