UPDATE 9/5/13 - The Utica Police Dept. have announce they believe they
have found the remains of missing Levon.
They were found by a dive team in the Mohawk River in North Utica.
The search happened after Levon’s father, Jevon Wameling, was arrested
on burglary charges by state police on Thursday, said Uticaod news.
Amy Warney posted on Facebook:
“Well everyone my son Levon was found in the water. I can do this.”
Later she stated, “Now I can put u to rest my love. This is not easy I
feel empty in side y did this happin I love u so much babyboy mommy
loves u.”
DNA testing will be done to confirm the remains belong to Levon.
"Obviously based on the info we got, the fact that we recovered remains,
there's a good possibility that it's of Levon," Hauck said.

Police
in Utica have spent months searching for a missing child. On Saturday,
the search officially came to an end after the remains of a child found
in the Mohawk River were identified as Levon Wameling. YNN's Candace
Hopkins has the latest.
UTICA, N.Y. -- The Onondaga County Medical Examiner's office confirmed
the human remains were those of nine-month-old Levon Wameling. They said
extensive DNA testing was conducted in order to identify the remains.
Levon disappeared at the end of May. His father, Jevon Wameling, said he
left the child on the front porch unattended, and when he returned
Levon was gone.
Jevon did not report his son missing for two weeks.
Police searched several locations for Levon, but were never able to find
a sign of the child. However, they followed up on a tip that led them
to the Mohawk River. Divers found the remains on September 6.
The Medical Examiner's office has yet to determine the cause of death.
Now, Utica Police are continuing their investigation
