Law enforcement officials with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office believe that human skeletal remains discovered Monday in a wooded area near Lake Morality in Carrabelle may be those of Cody Diorio, who went missing in the area April 2.
According to a news release from the sheriff’s office, the clothing items and footwear found near the remains were consistent with those last seen on Diorio.
Early Tuesday morning, Franklin County detectives, agents with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement Crime Lab and officers with the Florida Department of Corrections collected the skeletal remains and other items from the area.http://www.apalachtimes.com/news/local-news/sheriff-diorio-s-remains-may-have-been-found-1.186800
