Steven Kraft, 12, disappeared from his home in Benton Township, MI, on Thursday, February 15, 2001. He was last seen playing with his two dogs about a half block from his home at 7:45 that evening. The two dogs were eventually found, but Steven has not been seen since that night.

I have a request here on site to look at Tarot for Steven Earl Kraft who went missing in 2001.

Please read all the notes on this page as they will tell you what can or cannot be achieved in experimental Tarot. Tarot can show us glimpses of past present and future which may be of assistance but it only produces possibilities and not FACTS. Please therefore always check with factual information.


Regardless of what the belief is, I do not check into background history of cases I write Tarot for. There is a very good reason for this. In short, it influences the thinking. I try always to avoid as many information sites as possible in order to write down JUST what Tarot gives to me. Nothing is validated until something comes along to prove it, but neither are speculations that might have been running around the internet for years. Therefore, I write what I see with a clear head because that is the best way to attempt writing for anyone.



My first card is curious to me because although it is a 10 or a 1 card (often used for route or distance) it is also linked to 12 years and looking at the brief note above it seems that this boy was 12 years old when he disappeared. A very small coincidence but it is here all the same.

The wheel of fortune is what I call a 'funny' card - funny 'odd' more then anything because, yes it could very well produce 'wheels' suggesting a car and a journey, but at the same time it records a trip. That could mean also suggest something as simple as the fact that Steven tripped up.

However, to every card is a positive and negative, I would usually take the upright card to have the most positive and 'nicer' influences but we also have to remember there are underlying negative aspects too. The negative aspect on this card would be that the trip ended in very bad fate.

We have to note that this card is all about what comes around goes around and it might be that as it is sitting squarely next to Justice that someone might have been seeking it.
Justice for what? I am not aware of the background history so I cannot say precisely, but if someone wanted to 'right a wrong' it means that perhaps they were paying someone back, like a 'debt' or even 'getting their own back'. Those are possibilities here.
There is no clear decision on this card to exact circumstances but the suggestions are there.

The interesting thing about this card is the fact that it is a turning point too, which could show 'turning around' or a vehicle turning around, or just as I say something coming 'back' to us, perhaps via Karma as this is a huge karma card.

The small extract report suggests that Steven was playing with two dogs. There are animals on the Wheel card but often showing different animals some wild, so perhaps the dogs were running wild or ran off and Steven tried to get them back and a car came along at that point, BUT I did not receive this card reversed so Im not really feeling on first glance that this is a hit and run. If anything this card tells us that the persons fate is changed forever and there is a 'new life' ahead.

Peculiar?

There is a link to the Letter T and an A . Also because of of the 'one' element there is also a link to fatherhood. (No I really do not know why). I am wondering whether someone exercised 'discipline' here? I am also sensing some kind of 'protection'. Of course if this card had come out reversed that protection would have been removed, but I have to go with the card thats given.

There is a feeling of chance encounters, or meetings or visits/contact with others so it really does seem that someone else must have been on the scene somewhere. There is also a feeling of being trapped or tied down to a situation and wanting to release or perhaps even escape. Again, I am not going to make a 'story' of anything, Im just going to give glimpses of past present and future and it has to go together in its own way or make sense in its own way to those closer to the issue.

An outside possibility of seeing the palm of someones hand - short sharp slap in reality or just fate hitting in that way?
The colour white comes up here.

The fact that the Magician is somehow linked in here would often suggest someone disappeared or vanished before our eyes, but the cards are not really showing that, it is almost like it is someones will that this boy disappeared. I cant even see a plan as such because if anything it might have been a surprise but that is what seems to come up here.

Someone has gone off on their own to 'see someone' and encountered the Hermit who is a man with a beard. From there life has taken on a new change but the fact that Steven is 'hidden and concealed' from that point might show up here. Its true to say that the Hermit can be a 'weirdo' guy because there is 'sexual touch' sometimes on this card but perhaps thats an alleged thing rather than a fact as we begin at the Wheel which is the destiny that changes our fate and seemingly could very well be a vehicle.
There is also an anniversary or birthday being mentioned here so I will give that also.

I am getting the South or the South East here as a connecting direction.

There is a person description - it does not always apply but I will give it anyway.

The first thing is someone who might be tanned, not particularly tall but they are strong. Might be bald or have thin hair, colour might be light chestnut. This card can argue that they are really tall but then say they are not. So I will just leave that and try not to figure it out unless there are two similar people one tall one average but similar colouring. Might have grey eyes and a beard.



Here we have the tower card which I was hoping would try to tell us a little more about where Steven might be. I see in this card that life changed quite by accident/surprise as this is a bolt from the blue. Here we have a building and at first glance we see people being thrown out of it or that it is then reduced to rubble or that we might be somewhere there are ruins. But, that could apply also to life, that a new lifestyle is there in the aftermath of traumatic events.
Broken relationships, divorces and failures in business and career could come up here.

Being released from unhealthy situations/relationships too though Im not sure who was around Steven for Tarot to suggest this. This card is a tower so it is a stone structure the number here is 1 and 6 which is a number 7 when added and in that case reversed might give us a hit and run oddly enough or some kind of accident, or place where there are vehicles that are scrap use or even a parking lot. Out of curiosity I wonder if anything was being built in the area at the time of disappearance?

Numbers 16, 7 or 91 can figure here for roads/routes or distances, or they have another significance. Here I am feeling that Steven is where he is BY ACCIDENT. Tarot just cannot really name places. I am given a 2 year period for something.

I am also being told about some kind of false accusation here?

Whenever I think of the Tower card at the back of my mind is 9/11 and New York that would certainly describe the scene in this card and I am not sure yet if it has significance or whether Tarot is just having a conversation in its own way to remind me that in 2001 this terrible event happened, bit of a concidence though isnt it?

As far as I know Steven disappeared from Benton, MI which I presume is Michigan? I would need to look at a map to see if anything might make sense there for 9/11 coming up. However, also we are once again being told about some traumatic experience that occurred to Stephen and it is that year also that he vanished. I know there is a message in here somewhere!! a feeling of deception or aversity is quite strong here.

On this run of cards however, Steven might not be so lucky with his health as respiratory problems might have occurred that challenged him but it does not necessarily have to represent terrible things, it could be having to hold your breath.

But I am getting an area that has suffered from a 'natural disaster'. There may be water nearby or water may be somewhere scene even if it is only a river. There might also be a 'summit' or a mountain or Hillside or that might be the name of a place.
One might be falling?

Burns and scars come up here as do fire and heat. We also have keywords for places which Dee will understand when I write them but they often represent roads routes or places and those keywords are sandy and hilly ground, newly built land or where construction work is taking place. Land for sheep cattle or stables/small animals. Places where criminal activity might take place or where criminals might hide (look for names like CROOK - etc) Also materials of construction for building houses, like plastering etc.
Church names can come up too or some link to churches and spiritual matters.

One can get trapped in basements in this card, not necessarily but its possible

The word TAN or TANNER.

There may be some university/student links or perhaps some name like that?

Im really inclined to think South or South East in direction. However, it is reversed which could bring up North.



Our search and find card is the two of wands. Sometimes we have a distinct revelation and accuracy in when a person will be found because Tarot is absolute about it, but in this card we are simply 'waiting' - waiting to be found?

And as this is a search and find card it can talk about other people waiting for Steven to be found too. In this card there is a big world out there, it might express places that have been searched already but notice we have water here, so maybe there is a bay of water here, perhaps even somewhere up high in itself looking over and the word Bay, Bow or Victory might come up here. Possibly even a Bridge near water. The word ASH.

We have to remember that the waiting in this card is also about choices and decisions that are made in order to find Steven. There is a feeling of sports elements or football fields or something of that nature and maybe a hotel in the area. Perhaps its an area that had to be rebuilt or that there was construction here at some point. The number is 2 and this card is South. The man on the card is looking to the West. Please note that. But then note that South East can be strong on this card as it is on the others. Which direction has been looked into more thoroughly, East or the WEST?

The 2 may be a route or direction it could also represent some kind of timing. Steven disappeared in the 2nd month and that is a two - and previous to this is the hitchhikers card which could give us a vehicle but they could be preconceived thoughts or just buds of ideas that came up with the search. What I feel here is that there is a divided opinion about the search for Steven and because of that searching for him does not seem to grow beyond the initial stages of thought. Perhaps the whole thing needs brainstorming again.

A new plan of action is needed here I think.

Perhaps there is also an 'overseas' element here?

There is a possibility of 'foreign' soil but it could also suggest where new dwellings are as that would be foreign soil in its own way too.
Emigration can come up though.

Perhaps if someone moved house Steven would be found if he was linked to their building? 
The word 'holiday' can also come up which could represent 'emigration' suggestion a holiday home.

Or perhaps there are new houses/buildings somehow in the equation or some industrial area?

I also want to mention 'longview'?? if it means anything, could just be saying we need to take the longview of the situation.

Colour red.

I would recommend reading all the information together to pick up a better picture as when Tarot gives us the past present and future it will throw up similar information hoping we can grasp it.
I certainly hope that something will help, but all I can give are possibilities not Fact.

At the current time we are in a state of flux, but I find it odd that we are 'waiting for something' in order for Steven to be found and Im not quite sure what that is.

I cannot guarantee all the detail I have given as that is not possible to do without any kind of validation for various points, but I write as I find and all I can do is leave it and hope that even if its a small point it gives a clue that could be pulled and followed.

If nothing has physically happened to Steven and we cant discount that, then I would have thought he might at some point have had a new identity living somewhere else. Those are the thoughts accuring, but if something negative happened then we have to take into account the ideas and suggestions that are here that might link or make some kind of sense to events.
