Article: New Castle County police asked Friday for public tips on the whereabouts of a missing 16-year-old girl, Darlene Cooper, and her 4-week-old baby daughter, Sona Fogan. Darlene Cooper and the infant, of the Cedar Wood apartments in the 700 block of Christiana Road (Del. 273) near New Castle, were reported missing November 25, 2012 Cpl. John Weglarz Sr. said. They last were seen the day before at a New Castle-area motel, he said. She texted a family member that she was going to Philadelphia but has not been heard from since, he said. The teen’s medical status and baby’s age add to concerns about their well-being, Weglarz said. Police searched but were unable to find them. They ask anyone with information about Cooper – 5 feet 2 inches tall, 160 pounds with brown hair – to call county police at 573-2800 or Delaware Crime Stoppers at (800) TIP-3333. aturday, November 24th. Authorities say Cooper and her boyfriend George Fogan were at a motel on West Avenue.   The young mother has not been in contact with family or friends since that time. Anyone with information on their whereabouts is asked to contact News Castle County Police at 302-573-2800.
