BRUCE CAMPBELL - UPDATED 1ST NOVEMBER 2012

On April 13, 1959, Bruce Campbell Sr. and his wife, Mabelita, drove to Jacksonville from their home in Northampton, Mass., and took a room at the Sandman Hotel. The couple had come to see their newly born first grandchild. He was the son of their only child, Bruce Campbell Jr., who taught chemistry at Jacksonville's MacMurray College. Two weeks later, Mabelita Campbell returned home alone.
No fight had occurred, no funeral. In truth, to this very day, no one has any idea what became of Campbell Sr., a prominent 57-year-old stock-investment counselor.
When he arrived in Jacksonville, Campbell was so visibly exhausted from his marathon drive -- his son described his father's state of mind as "rational but disoriented" -- that it was arranged for him to be seen by Dr. E.C. Bone, a local physician. Campbell Jr. later told police that his father was given medication to help him sleep. It didn't seem to work.

Campbell was restless and paranoid that night, his wife told police, according to a later account by Charles Runkel, a Jacksonville police captain at the time. Twice before 1 a.m., Campbell uncharacteristically awakened her to ask whether their car was locked, she said. Twice she reassured him and told him to go back to sleep. When she woke again, on her own, at 2:15 a.m., she was alone. A quick search of the hotel room and their car revealed no sign of the elder Campbell's departure but, rather, turned up a disturbing list of left-behind items: Campbell's wallet, all of his money, his shoes, his glasses, his keys, and all of his clothes. The only items missing were the bright-green pajamas he had worn to bed.

I have been asked about a very unusual case here on the blogger regarding a man who appeared to vanish into thin air. It was a case that hit the news in 1959 and the man was called Bruce Campbell , the date of disappearance was 14th April 1959.

I have no picture of this man to put up and none can be supplied although I have left the outline of the story above.
Please remember to read all Tarot notes as often people read and do not understand that Tarot only gives glimpses of past present and future and certainly does not have the answer to everything. It is always wise to seek factual sources of information.



My first card will take into account the disappearance as the seperation can be seen in this journey of the five. There are three people here in this situation. It seems to me that there is an argument here or an argument or quarrel has erupted between two people. I cannot tell you at what stage this has occurred all I can do is show the trends.

This man may have had problems with his heart ? and there are some church references here also but our five is showing this seperation and a very calculated and unfeeling act. That tends to make me feel that someone was involved here regarding his disappearance. There also seems to be some plan of action regarding this argument at least that is the impression that I am getting.

Sometimes a three way relationship involving another person can also come up here. There seems to be some kind 'roguery' perhaps tricks or lies or some kind of treachery involved here but I just seem to see another person involved.

There is it seems an opportunity here that was taken?
Dealings with other people seem to be the reason that this man vanished. The card is East and we have a number 5 which could be distance or it could even mean that there were problems for five months or that a five may be significant. Water rocks stone and mountains are often in this card whether they are landscape or whether they are names for something I cannot be sure.
There is something here about 'damage control' or someone who needs to repair their reputation? The colour yellow comes up.

There may be enemies or hidden agendas.

I have a description of someone who might be strong, sturdy but not particularly tall, long face and possible prominent bone structure, fair complexion sandy or darker blonde hair and hazel eyes. North West can be linked into these cards as well as the original East. Pointers will go on a map for observation.

Place descriptions are really Tarot trying to explain vicinity or landscape or produce names that 'sound' like place names . Here we have deep wells, quarries, mines land that has recently been dug. Places high off the ground, hills, land uneven, up high as aviation is mentioned. It is also pointing to links up high in buildings, such as roof attic or bedrooms. Water comes into this card so we have fountains springs, vineyards, baths taps showers any kind of connection to water or even where there are power supplies. To also consider in the same vein, deserts, woods, obscure valleys, caves, dens, holes, mountains, church-yards, ruinous buildings, coal-mines, sinks, dirty or muddy places, wells and houses of offices. These can be trying to name a place or be in the vicinity.

Another person description may be average stature, small dark eyes, broad forehead, dark hair, big ears, thick lis and nose and unshaven but not a big beard. This person stoops?
It does seem like an argument broke out because this card can tell us to pick our battles and perhaps someone was outspoken. I am seeing stress worry and guilt.
Was someone getting a divorce?



This is an interesting card. This card is generally South for direction. Here we have the number 11 on this card which can break down to a number 2. This could give ideas of distance or routes but can have other significances. Interestingly you do get SAND with this card and I do see a hotel and that is where this gentleman was staying, it was called the Sandman hotel. Its quite clear to me that this card can identify that.

It may be symbolic but Im getting ' a castle on the hill in the background' land with a river that runs through. I feel like this man had some unresolved issues from before or the past and they caught up with him. Im getting links to a birth of a baby on this card as pages can signify that. I am also seeing a car that is stationary.
I am seeing some form of persecution tyranny and violence. I feel almost as though this guy was attacked at some point. Im trying to figure out where he is and Im getting 'pyramids'??

Also some form of male domination. Im seeing sickness and illhealth but also court matters or some kind of legal issues are coming up here. Snowy mountains? church yards? OR places that sound like that. I wish I had a picture of this man because it is often the eyes that can tell you things. I feel like this man was kidnapped. Two people saw it or knew, I also can see letters or messages?
Perhaps being between two places or two towns? theres some kind of 'entertainment' establishment also in the picture. Something Black Im also getting bushes?

He may be linked to a number 2 or number 20, 11 or a number 1 and the South East though the next card shows South West. Someone young spreads hurtful rumours according to this card there seems to have been a 'cancelled trip' too. All I keep seeing is some uncomfortable relationship here and disagreement with someone who might not have been able to keep a secret.
I am seeing White and a problem with respiration. Land with a river on it and animals?

There is a mountain there or perhaps its the name of a place? I just feel as though some information is not right about the entire story. Is something being missed out somewhere as I just feel that something else should have been said but it has not been expressed. This guy might be near water and a bridge is there a bridge anywhere near that hotel or sports fields etc? maybe some places with regal names like King or prince or Queen, princess etc?



Regarding being found I am being referred to the 'three 'bells'. This card shows me a FOUR so maybe it was three bells and became four? This card is West, shows an island or a name that might suggest that and a tree or tree name. There is an M and/or a W and this card is linked to water. I saw a bridge in the card before and this bridge is in this card also. A white bridge is what I have. A small building down by the water/river or water source. I am also seeing 'a place he knows' so I might be getting place of origin or his hometown?

Garden comes up, pots and containers?
I am not sure about this man being found as there is a lot of apathy on this card and a very doleful element. I think for some reason there has not been a proper opportunity to find him however crazy that sounds as it has been years since he went missing. The word Union comes up. I can see a small woman with a round face and small eyes?
Im getting North West .

Places possibly connected to water or water names Landscape could be the sea, rivers and places near ponds or waters - brooks, springs, wells, wash-houses, sea shores, marshy land, though these descriptions could be trying to describe a place. I also see a 'cellar' or being under something? or a name to represent that.
Im seeing fish, fisherman possibly boats on the water. Maybe being somewhere you can look at them or that they are name places. Port towns etc springs all could come under the name of water places.
I am not sure about him being found though. If a picture does surface please let me know and I will have another look.

There is also the word DAY or NEW to give because that comes up with this card. I am not sure what else I can add because it feels as though this guy is either in or not far from his hometown. If this man is alive this card gives me the impression he is free to 'live in peace'. However, there are church elements with the cups cards and I have the colour Red Blue and possibly a 'Ruby' a 'ring'? also someones office comes up.

Tarot is just a very brief overview but hopefully something here might help.
