 Michigan City police are seeking the public's help in locating a missing woman who disappeared last weekend in Michigan City and was reported missing by her family on Monday.

Candi Brown, 29, Michigan City, who also is known as Candi Morris, was last seen Sunday just after 1 a.m. in a car in the area of Holliday Street and Carroll Avenue, according to Michigan City Police Detective Corp. Jason Holaway.

Brown, who was on community corrections, did not report at the corrections center as required on Monday and was subsequently reported missing by her family.

Holaway said the vehicle that Brown was in when last seen has been located, but declined to say where the vehicle was found. Anyone having information about Brown or her whereabouts is asked to call police at (219) 874-3221 Ext. 346 or (219) 898-9059.
