Missing Since: September 7, 1984 from Chama, New Mexico
Esther Valdez was last seen after school on September 7, 1984. She and her best friend, Cindy Redwine, picked up their paychecks from the Branding Iron restaurant, where they worked as dishwashers, and then drank whiskey and visited the grave of Valdez's baby sister, who had died several years earlier. At the gravesite, Valdez told Redwine she loved her parents. The friends separated afterwards

This is my Aunt Esther Valdez, her birthday is coming up in March and she will be missing 30 years as of September 7, 2014. The family would like closure in order to begin healing. If she has passed on and we can find her remains we also hope to lay her to rest.
