Bekime was last known to be in the vicinity of her residence in the 6000 block of Twin Oaks Drive, in Colorado Springs.
At approximately 9:30pm on Monday March 29, 2008
Law enforcement officers were searching for Beckime and heard a gun shot as they approached the home Bekime shared with her boyfriend. Her boyfriend was found deceased inside the residence due to what was determined to be a self-inflcited gun shot wound.
Police have new information in the case of the missing woman, Bekime Elshani.
The Colorado Springs Police Department announced Friday afternoon that after processing Elshani's boyfriend, Daniel Dereere’s Toyota 4Runner), they found evidence to suggest that foul play is likely involved with her disappearance.
Police say Dereere was seen in the area of Woodland Park/Teller County in the afternoon or evening hours of Saturday, March 29. That's the last day Bekime was seen alive.
Dereere took his own life in the couple's Colorado Springs home Monday night.
Police are asking anyone who remembers seeing the man or the vehicle in the area of Woodland Park/Teller County on Saturday to call Det. Pete Quick at 444-7557 or the Colorado Springs Police Department main number at 444-7000.

please look into what happened to Bekime elshani. She was last seen March 29 2008. Her fiance killed himself was last to see her. We need closure
there were searches done in woodland park this is where her fiance was seen when Becky went missing. She did not want to go home that night please look into this. thank you

Empathy.
I worked with Bekime briefly at PRC and she told me her husband was going to kill her which was out of the blue. I didn't know what to do besides urge her to get help from family or law enforcement. I regret this everyday now because it may have been different if I made her get help instead of just telling her. I didn't know her well and she was previously friends with my sister but they had grown apart. I remember seeing him with my sister at Walmart before we heard the news and he seemed strange since my sister didn't know him well she asked how she was and he was quick to change the subject on how she was and her appearance. I have wanted to say this but feared it offered very little help because we were almost strangers.
Was becky upset when she told you this? what was your sisters name maybe her siblings would know her she has 6 sisters you never know
