LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- LMPD investigators say a man found dead inside a truck in the 4300 block of Southern Parkway Wednesday night has been missing for almost three months.
Richard "Chad" Downs, was found in a truck parked in a car port outside some apartments on April 30. Management at the apartments called a towing company to have the truck towed because it had been parked there for several months.
Police say Downs was reported missing on Feb. 7 by his employer.
The tow truck driver was the first one to notice the body.
Deputy coroner Jack Arnold said an autopsy showed "no lethal trauma," and the cause of death is pending more testing. http://www.wdrb.com/story/28944461/body-found-in-truck-on-southern-parkway-identified
