I wish to let you know that Erica is not a missing child. She is with her mother in Nairobi Kenya who at the time of travel, had been granted full legal and physical custody by a Maryland court. Joseph Turay and the US embassy here in Nairobi are aware that she is with her mother.
Joseph is free to come to Kenya and visit Erica, after all he studied here. The US embassy here will gladly arrange for such a visit. He is not capable of taking care of Erica : he is an alcoholic, has a criminal record and is unable to keep a job. My family does not want to have any dealings with him because he has been unreasonable, has lied repeatedly about our family and caused us great stress. He is also generally a nuisance totally out of touch with reality ( a characteristic consistent with sociopaths). We are however more than ready and willing to work with the authorities for what is best and right for Erica. There is definitely malice in posting Erica's photograph all over the internet and claiming that she is missing yet the father knows exactly where she is and the US embassy here, an arm of the US government has been to our home and confirmed that indeed the child is thriving in a very good environment. There must be a way to deal with and deter people like Joseph who peddle lies about something as sensitive as a missing child and in the process waste valuable government resources that should be spent on cases that really need that attention.
Joseph Turay has consistently exhibited characteristics consistent with being a sociopath that is; being a pathological liar, being manipulative and cunning, lacking remorse or guilt, living a parasitic lifestyle i.e is unable to hold a job, seeks to control all aspects of his victims life and can be emotionally and physically abusive, has a history of vexatious, frivolous and malicious lawsuits. For this reason, Anne left the US and returned to Kenya to escape from the character described above. She suffered great emotional and financial stress in the 2 years she was with him.
The last case that he filed in the US was based on false and malicious facts. Custody was given to him on false premises because Anne was not available to present her case. Let him come to Kenya and file the same case, we have a very fair and just court system here.

Rosemary, this child is posted here because she is considered missing and it is to aid 'finding her'. This site does a great deal to profile the missing and does not post anything here for 'malice' purposes. I am quite surprised to read such a comment in light of innocent and good intentions by this site. I will check to see if this child is found and if so I will of course remove her photograph, but I do think you should be more courteous that people are concerned for this baby and thankful we care?
I really do not know the details of this case and therefore it is not here for anyone to be judged it is to find a missing child who was advertised as missing from official sources.
If the little girl is safe I am very pleased and of course will make sure that her photograph is removed.
Just to point out that this child is still considered missing but I will investigate whether that is the case still.

Missing Children Alerts in Maryland maybe you need to re read this, this is the state of maryland's missing website and this baby is registred missing in the state of maryland but yet you say maryland granted the mother full custody,then why is this baby on this registry.hmmm.
oh and by the way erica is one of the deserving children she is classified as endangered missing this is a great concern to us.
