Missing: Sharon Simpkins Case: Missing with Special Needs/Vulnerable Missing From: Newburgh, NY Missing Date: November 29, 2012 Race: African American Sex: Female Age at Time Missing: 43 years old Height: 5’2″ Weight: 170 lbs Hair Color: long black dreadlocks Eye Color: brown Special Alert: Sharon Simpkins, 43, has a mental capacity of about a 10 to 13-year-old, according to her sister. Clothing: last seen wearing a purple jacket and possibly a blue bandana in her hair. Other: She has no friends or family nearby, does not know her home address or phone number, has no cell phone or money. Police Agency: Newburgh Town Police at 845-564-1100, or your local police. Circumstance: Sharon Simpkins walked away from her home and has not been seen since, She has the emotional capacity of a 10-13 year old and is very vulnerable. Her family moved into the area in July of 2012 and lives on Peach Terrace. She has no friends or family nearby, does not know her home address or phone number, has no cell phone or money. Ms. Simpkins is black, five feet, two inches tall, 170 pounds, with brown eyes, and long black dreadlocks. She was last seen wearing a purple jacket and possibly a blue bandana in her hair. According to her sister, the missing woman has done this before, but usually comes home after a couple of hours. The last time this occurred, she was found at midnight by a trucker at the Pilot Truck Stops on Route 17K in the Town of Newburgh. Anyone with information is asked to call Newburgh Town Police at 845-564-1100, or your local police.
