Photo: Surrey RCMP are looking for William Vernie. He is described as as 6' 4", 250 lbs, with green eyes, brown hair and a shaved head. He was last seen December 8 around 6:00pm wearing a black jacket, grey t‐shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes. Vernie took his dog, a female black Lab named Harley, out for a walk Saturday and has not been seen or heard from since. Harley has not been located and was wearing a pink collar. Anyone with information about the whereabouts of William Vernie are asked to contact the Surrey RCMP at 604‐599‐0502 and quote file number 2012‐163136 or or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS or go to www.solvecrime.ca if they wish to remain anonymous.
