COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Detectives from The Ohio State University Police Division have issued a missing alert for an man who walked away from the Wexner Medical Center Wednesday afternoon.
The missing alert has been issued for Kenneth Charles Whitfield, 64.
Whitfield walked away from the emergency department at about 2:30 p.m. on May 18, 2012 according to detectives.
Detectives said he has not made contact with any family members and he likely does not have access to his medication.
Whitfield is described as a white male who is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black T-shirt and brown slip-on shoes.
Detectives do not suspect foul play and believe Whitfield left the hospital voluntarily.
