Donald William Tobin, 51, went missing July 8. Members of his family are scheduled to join investigators for a news briefing at 10 a.m. in the Riverside Police Department's Magnolia Avenue station.
Tobin's roommate reported him missing after he failed to return home July 9. He had been gone for a full day at that point, according to police.

Sandra Bright Corolla two days later at the Carlson Dog Park in the 4600 block of Mission Inn Avenue. Tobin's residence is less than a quarter-mile away, in the 3900 block of Redwood Drive, police said.
"The vehicle was abandoned, but personal items belonging to Tobin were found inside," said Lt. Victor Williams.
Tobin is white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 165 pounds. He is balding and has a mustache.
