Reward Offered in Case of Nissing Pelican Bay Man
A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to the whereabouts of Ervin Robinson, 57, who was last seen Memorial Day weekend in Pelican Bay. 5/31/2010
The reward is being offered by TJ Machine & Tool in Azle, the company where Robinson has worked for the past 10 years. Robinson's boss, Michael Wright, filed a missing person's report on June 16 after Robinson failed to show up for work for two weeks straight.
Pelican Bay Police Chief Gilbert Towns has said that the last time anyone can verify Robinson's whereabouts is May 28, when he was seen at a local bar and at his house in Pelican Bay. He said Robinson's wife told investigators he left on Memorial Day with a woman, but officials question why he left without money, personal belongings, his vehicle or motorcycle.
Robinson's sister, Sheila Downing, said she appreciates everything TJ Machine & Tool is doing to help find her brother.
"You just don't find employers that care this much," she said. "I'm just so amazed at how much they are helping. It's not a great big company, but it's a company that cares about its employees."
The reward is being offered for information to a law enforcement agency that leads to confirmation about the disappearance or whereabouts of Robinson.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Pelican Bay Police Department at 817-270-4309.

The body of a Texas man reported missing more than three years ago has been found buried in his own front yard, and his wife has been charged with murder.
Ervin Robinson was reported missing by his boss in May 2010, after he didn't show up at work for almost two weeks, NBC DFW reported. He was 57 at the time.
At the time, his wife, Neola Robinson, told investigators that her husband walked out on her with another woman, but apparently hadn't taken any money or personal belongings, according to the Star-Telegram.
It wasn't until last Saturday, though, that authorities received a tip that led them to search the couple's Pelican Bay property, the Associated Press reported. The search ended with them digging up the front lawn, where they found Ervin Robinson's body.
Neighbors told the Star-Telegram they always had suspicions Neola Robinson, now 62, may have been involved in Robinson's disappearance.
“I actually heard [Neola Robinson] tell someone at a bar, ‘You shouldn’t sit by me, I might kill ya.’ She laughed, then everybody pretty much just stopped talking to her," neighbor Lanie Lindsay told the paper.
Neola Robinson is charged with murder and is being held on $150,000 bond.
