ANACORTES, Wash. – Anacortes Police are looking for a 63-year-old man who has not been seen since last Wednesday.

Police say on Jan. 6, Keith Arthur Anderson left the city of Anacortes to meet an unidentified acquaintance in the Arlington area. He hasn't been seen or heard from since.

Anderson left his residence with only a small amount of cash, no clothes or other personal items. He has a history of medical issues and may be depressed due to recent family problems.

He was last seen driving his white Ford Ranger, license No. B08111F.

SAUK PRAIRIE - The pickup truck of an Anacortes man missing since Jan. 6 was found 11 miles up a remote logging road northwest of Darrington Friday, the Skagit Valley Herald reports.
The paper reports that officials are searching the Sauk Prairie area for former Anacortes High School counselor Keith Anderson, 62.
Anderson was last seen after he went to meet an unidentified acquaintance in the Arlington area.
Anderson left his residence with only a small amount of cash, no clothes or other personal items, said police. He has a history of medical issues and may be depressed due to recent family problems.
The Herald reports that Skagit County Sheriff's deputies searched Anderson's white Ford Ranger pickup and found no sign of foul play or indications that he might have ended his own life.

I have a request here on the blogger to look at Tarot for Keith Anderson who went missing on January 6th 2010. The information I have is posted above and it seems this man's truck was found.
Tarot can give glimpses past present and future, therefore, some details already posted may be picked up. However, Tarot can also give some other indications of circumstances and in some cases can tell us other things. Tarot is not guaranteed as 100 per cent accurate and for that reason it is always wise to seek factual sources of information elsewhere



This first card rather surprised me as it seems to show him a very happy family man and here you see a picture of a couple with two children and though he went missing on the card is draw for, there does,nt appear to be anything negative there that stands out to me right now. Travel is associated with this card and so is teamwork and being recognised for all the good things you do for those around you as well as in your family and there is a good reputation in this card, but you know, it is not really the card I would have thought appropriate for this man going missing. However, it is a West card so we have a west direction at some point and also we need to think of the journey of these cups.

I do not see a suicide here at this stage of the tarot because even though there are emotional thoughts and problems which have needed to be left behind at some point the next card seems to indicate a message from the Page of cups. This card would make me feel that there is someone who has invited Keith over what appears to be land/water and I feel as though they went together. I say this because it seems to be teamwork in the 10 of cups and that does,nt really give me the impression he was alone at the time. Certainly Tarot can be wrong and I make no bones about that, but it seems that there was some kind of unexpected message or situation that may have ended up in teaming up with someone maybe around the age of 35 or a bit either of that who is a person you would consider to be a friend.

This card can be a 'lover' but it is not necessarily so. It would be someone who is friendly nice someone you would talk to on a trip? OR go to see. I then seem to have two people, a male and female both much older probably more in Keith's age bracket, so whether he met with a female or not I cannot be sure but I put that forward. but I rather feel the person I see is younger than Keith and could be either sex gender.

The person he would be likely to meet might be someone in the family, or it could be somebody who considers themselves family or someone who Keith would have spoken too so I am debating at the moment whether this is a stranger or not? I feel as though the person if another, or even Keith himself might be within a radius of 10 miles of his home or someone elses but as you can see there appears to be nothing much to go on in this first card.

The Queen of cups can talk about medicine or drinking something putting something in the mouth and often that is usually something to drink as it has a cup on it and the substance is inside the cup.
What the King shows me is a person who is enjoying the company of younger people. So I do not know how this would be, but the Page of cups can suggest a birth in the family, or even birth of a child but this does not always apply.

I am unable to see negative factors here right now. I do not even see this man depressed but then I have to rely on what Tarot has given. This card though can go outside of the family to other friendships and it can even refer at times to people who 'we work with' or have a comaderie with and as the Queen is a healer it might suggest that Keith met with someone that he WORKS with or has worked with at some time. If I went back to the start of the cups I still only see invitations of friendship so I think I should move to the next card to see if it will fill in some problems if any but I do note that the Knight takes a person over terrain that might include water and a lake or area that has water and sometimes there may even be a boat here or maybe suggesting an area where there are boats and one goes towards that kind of landscape.

The Direction I have is West looking East. It is possible that there might even have been a new opportunity for business attached to the situation of the 10 of cups. There is an awful lot of water in the cards but you know it maybe that it is more emotional then water itself but I have to just put what I am seeing.



Asking Tarot where Keith might be I receive the Emperor. A curious card to receive and not much where direction is concerned either except that this card does indicate the NUMBER FOUR and one might assume that could be a number on a door, a distance marker or even a route number, it is rather ambiguous. However, this card is linked astrologically to the Hanged Man. The Hanged man is the 12th card of the Major Arcana. This hanged man is linked to the family and secrets. Whether those secrets are Keith's secrets or anyone that is in the 10 of cups is not something I can say or know right now. But, when this card is reversed the mans pockets are emptied. He is put in a position where he cannot do anything about it. He is truly in suspension that he is stuck with.


There is a gibbert here, or a TREE which could indicate an actual tree or an area that would have a Tree type of name perhaps. The hanged man is a difficult card to read but it does show a lot of Neptune/water/elusive things. It also follows the Justice card which is the LAW. Now it might suggest that the VEHICLE has been found by the Law as the Law also appears on the Emperor. So I think we could say that much might be the case, but, that does,nt tell us about Keith himself. The next card we have is the Heirophant. Now this card tells us to follow the Map and also gives us a KEY. I do not know whether the vehicle had a sat nav but if it did it might be possible to find out if there was any journey punched into it. If not, we have to look at other sides of this card.

For example, the Heirophant gives 'good advice' and it is a spiritual card and a church card and a charitable card. It might be worth considering whether Keith was linked to any charitable concerns and check them out. Was he likely being charitable to somebody for example. The Hanged man does not show an attack but it can show somebody stuck in a situation and not being able to do anything about it. It can be a water environment, he could actually have been tied up in realistic terms it is possible. Perhaps there is a 'church name' in a road or county or route even a monastry can show in this card.

I am seeing terrain with water/land/lake/stream just as saw in the Knight of cups from the 10 of cups trail. Maybe a 'horse name' could be linked.



Asking when Keith might be found this card gives us an EIGHT. Normally I would have said under 8 days but I dont think it is meaning that on this occasion. It could be suggesting 8 miles I feel between 8 and 10 could be what I am seeing. This card shows that he has not moved from the water/land terrain that I saw earlier. He must still be there then. There might be mountains or some hills or even that in the name. Tarot really cannot give us the true names and we have to try to work with it to see what it is telling us. Again this card is WEST and we do seem to have had that theme throughout. But, we also have to bear in mind the card here is reversed and when its reversed it can mean North West but might indicate a lot of water here. I feel these cards show that he is dissatisfied with the current situation (Not sure if that means currently) but is in a very uncomfortable situation. I wonder if he is 'stuck' somewhere in a small space??


As for finding Keith, this is really such a hard card because I am not sure that he could be found in 8 days as that would be very soon after writing this Tarot and of course no headway has been made until now so I am very cautious about declaring anything of the kind. What I would do is just leave what I have for the moment because these cards can lead to a situation where a man has had enough and though that was not clear at first in the tarot, it might be clearer here. I just am feeling this is a difficult path for me in the tarot. I would like to leave this brief over view and consider more what Tarot has told us.

Tarot can jumble up information sometimes and not always give me what I ask but I know that what it does give to me are often things it wants us to know and though it seems a diversion, it must be there for a reason.

It could be the companion that Keith met with is not altogether the friendly person they first appeared to be. Have they come forward to suggest they met with him? If not then one has to be careful to think the story through as there must be someone who last saw and spoke to Keith who would represent the 'acquaintance' he was meeting with who seems somehow to be 'unknown'. What I do feel with a Knight of cups reversed is that the 'friendly acquaintance scenario' is actually not quite that meaning the person is far from friendly or that it could be a suicidal matter but nothing is guaranteed here it could be 'just what it looks like'.

Please remember Tarot does not get everything 100 per cent accurately so I give what there is for now and will think about this matter further.
I see Rocks/Stone in these last cards and I hope that nothing happened to this man in water as it is not beyond the bounds of possibility and once again think that 8 - miles? OR number 8 might figure in his finding.

Remains of popular Anacortes High School counselor Keith Anderson, who has been missing for more than 2 years, have been discovered in the remote Sauk Prairie area nearly 20 miles outside of Darrington. Police Chief Bonnie Bowers said that last Saturday a hiker discovered a skull and jawbone within a mile of where Anderson's vehicle had been located shortly after he went missing. She said in addition to a skull and jawbone, a tibia was also located nearby, but she wasn't sure just how close. Anderson had a history of medical problems including depression and high blood pressure. He left his residence on January 6, 2010, with only a small amount of cash, no clothes or other personal items and was reportedly intending to meet an acquaintance in the Arlington area. He was last seen on January 7, 2010, in the Sulton area. He hadn't been heard from since then, but his truck was discovered on January 23 of that year stuck on a logging road. The area was extensively searched by law enforcement officers as well as search and rescue volunteers at the time. Then on Saturday, June 23 of this year, a hiker reported finding the remains about one mile from where the truck had been discovered. Sheriff's deputies used cadaver dogs to search the area and were able to recover enough remains for the King County Medical Examiner to make an identification. Anderson's family was notified last Tuesday and the police announcement was delayed while all family members were notified.

It has been 16 months since Keith Anderson disappeared in Washington. His truck was found hidden on a logging trail in an area he would not ...




I am very sorry to hear this news regarding Keith. I hope that the cause of Keith's death is found and I shall update as necessary.
