I was sent this link by a young gentleman from Argentina asking me what Tarot might wish to convey in respect of the sightings of this 'Gnome' . As you all know, the majority of the work on the blogger is dedicated to Missing Children but I do write about various subjects including UFO and Earth matters from time to time. I thought on this occasion I would answer this question to see what Tarot might give to us.

Please remember that what Tarot gives to me cannot be considered to be the ABSOLUTE WORD as of course it is something you have to decide for yourself and whether it makes sense to you personally, however asking Tarot's advice I will print what I have been given.

Reading the above link that was sent to me regarding the Argentina 'Gnome' I thought that in order to answer the young man that emailed me the best thing to do was ask the Tarot what advice it could give.




The most important thing is to convey that I respect traditions and cultures of all countries and nationalities around the world. The world is a fascinating place as are the many people that live within it. I certainly do believe in fairies and elves and gnomes. As a child I was very happy to accept that the woods/nature presented these creatures to us and are very likely to be found at the bottom of the garden.

Why should we not accept that some things are very possible? just because we live in society that may not accept certain folklore does not mean to say it is not true.

For one thing the Queen of Pentacles is linked to gnomes and we do have the pentacles suit come up for this particular question. However, the Queen is quite some way from the two of Pentacles so we have to look at the situation as Tarot has given it.

Whatever I say here, it truly is what I feel personally tarot has given to us and for that reason it is only the opinion of Tarot and until proven otherwise one cannot decide whether Tarot is correct or not.

The Two of Pentacles is a duality card. It is physical image (real) and it is a life force. Therefore the Gnome that is seen is a real 'thing'. However and I must stress this, the two of pentacles is also the card of the PERFORMANCE ARTIST which can represent someone or something that is dual natured .

If this card is correct, then this Gnome has been thought to be someone who is dressed up and 'playing the part' and is a real human being. The two of Pentacles shows a talent, a surprise and a game. Troubles are more imaginary then real as this card is about recreation and gaiety. So is this a bit of fun someone is having? This is also a card of income where someone can get paid for doing something and next to the Ace of Pentacles could be a contract of work?

The Two of Pentacles sitting next to the three shows me a 'little person' and we have a church symbol which can show us cemetaries. But the three of pentacles shows teamwork and planning. Overall this appears to me to be a physical creation and manifestation therefore I am feeling perhaps the 'Gnome' that is in the picture above may be 'imaginary' or has been considered to be created by a person to appear as a Gnome.
When it comes to Gnomes they are spirit creatures and they look after the earth but we are more likely to disturb them then they are to disturb us.

Ultimately when receiving this card two of pentacles we have to take on board that the outcome is considered 'uncertain'. Therefore if we consider a Gnome like creature Tarot is not going to dispute them, but whether this is a real Gnome is leaving us with the information above and also inviting us to decide too as after all that is what the report is doing also.

We have to consider that when it comes to gnomes many people would have to consider changing their viewpoints perhaps. It seems to me that this 'gnome' creature was trying to navigate its way forward without problems?





However when I ask Tarot if this picture is truly a Gnome it gives me a 'yes' as to its physical image as that is what it looks like but at the same time I received the three of wands reversed which might suggest that there is little opportunity to be able to prove it. In this card we have a great act of betrayal - therefore the question is are people duped or not?

The four of Wands might suggest little foundation to it but still asks us to think outside the box.

Therefore I would conclude that Gnomes may very well exist but whether people would be prepared for the 'change' in beliefs if they dismiss this kind of thing is really what we might have to consider. I think its a very interesting subject and have left a link from wikepedia.

It is worth considering that the main element of Pentacles is Earth but also that the Ace of Pentacles is linked to Gold.


Has Tarot really given us a straight answer? I dont know for sure but I dont decide what cards are going to come up in answers. This was Tarot's answers. Perhaps that answer is, maybe, maybe not, but don't dismiss Gnomes as a figment of imagination?
